*** DIVE Staff
PADI certified instructors. They are now an important part of the team and will be happy to help and advise with any of your underwater needs.

Dive guides: All born and raised in Pemuteran, and grew up as fishermen so they know the local seas. They are remarkable marine naturalists and highly capable guides who will introduce you to the undersea world of North West Bali.

Our dive guides, together with our experienced boatmen and the rest of our friendly staff, will do their very best to ensure that your holiday with us is enjoyable, memorable, and safe.

*** The Land-based Crew
Greeting you with a warm smile, we have a wonderful team of friendly and hard working local staff to look after you and our facilities.

Many have been with us for a long time so have grown along with the business, familiar with the needs of our guests. They clean and maintain the rooms, tend our garden and beach-front grounds, serve you in the snack bar – do their best to answer any questions you may have during your stay and make it as enjoyable for you as they can.

They can arrange transport for you with our local driver co-operative, provide information on other nearby attractions, local facilities, ceremonies, and so on – even magic up special cakes for special occasions given a little notice.

Even though their main job is above the water, all of them appreciate the beauty of what Pemuteran has to offer and are knowledgeable about the local reefs. All those that wanted have tried SCUBA diving and the rest can regularly be found snorkelling from the beach.

Chris Brown
Chris BrownDirector
Founder of Reef Seen Divers’ Resort and the first to see the potential of diving in the Pemuteran area, Chris Brown is from Australia. He started Reef Seen Divers’ Resort in 1992 as his semi-retirement, but with his enthusiasm to do better, he just can’t slow down! He is the one responsible for helping the locals understand just how and why they need to protect the marine environment, starting the Turtle Project, Reef Seen Dancers, Reef Gardeners and many more community projects around Pemuteran. Locals call him Pak Nyoman with respect – which he certainly has earned in his many years in Pemuteran.
