PADI Discover Scuba Diving
Imagine 3-dimensional, weightless snorkelling....
Ever watched one of those underwater documentaries and wondered what it must be like to actually be there?
Well you can. Almost anyone can learn to dive! Sounds unlikely I know but the PADI system has been developed over the years to make Scuba diving accessible to as many people as possible. You don't need to be super-fit and as long as you are in reasonably good health you can have a go.
And if you get the taste you can do more following the well laid out progressive PADI training system.
The Discover Scuba programme gets you in the water straight away under the direct supervision of a PADI instructor. He or she will talk to you for about an hour during which you'll be introduced to the equipment, learn about how to dive safely, have all your questions answered and be taken step by step through various skills until you're ready for weightlessly gliding around our pretty house reef, Kebun Chris, for up to another hour on your Introductory Dive.
The skills you learn may be credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver Course. You must be at least 10 years old, and sign (or get your guardian to sign) some forms. You will not be taken deeper than 12 metres or whatever your comfort zone is. If you love it, we can then take you further afield by boat to one of our stunning offshore reefs.
